Love it but a few changes, put on an undownload button cause I downloaded Jenny by walk the moon and it didnt download all the way so I can see it but I cant play it, so please fix this thanx

After installing the update and logging in; everything played beautifully and managed to get (3) downloads. After that the app froze when trying to download another song. The notification appears and says download started; freezes then I have to close and restart again. Please fix this, I will gladly upgrade to 5-stars! THIS REALLY IS A VERY GOOD APP!

Great app but it would be very helpful to have a "Streaming Time Remaining" countdown like the desktop version has.

The app has frozen up numerous times. I love the volume of music available but its frustrating when it freezes up. Please fit it!

Space waster on your phone. Absolutely the worst app on my phone.* They should be ashamed of themselves for charging libraries for this "service." Searching and browsing is horrible and hard to use. Buttons are too small. There is no "now playing" button. The app has to be force closed if you cant find the song playing. Searching for artist or song is ham fisted. Complete and utter contempt for the user. Spend some money hire someone to fix this garbage. It hasnt been update in a year. Its the same app since it was first made. Its broke and they wont fix it. * I deleted the app. Gave app another try on 5/19/2015. No change. Update in December 2014 is useless. UX is garbage and I recommend libraries use hoopla. They dont even have a web responsive website. No face book presence. The only FB page is to a library that hasnt updated freegal in years. Garbage.

Downloaded three songs; two were successful and the other was interrupted by an incoming phone call (really?!. Theres no way to resume the download, so I deleted and tried to re-download; the app thinks Ive already downloaded. Hard restart didnt work. Deleted the app and reinstalled-- that didnt help AND it removed all my other downloads which I expected except it wont let me re-download. What a pain in the butt. This app is not easy at all.

If when downloading it is interrupted you can not re-download. If you delete a song you cant ever download it again.

UM ITS FREE MUSIC AND YOU CAN LISTEN TO IT WITHOUT WIFI I LOVE IT

I had been using freegal for several months, downloading five songs a week and loving it. The app always worked great for me, until a couple of weeks ago when my child accidentally deleted the app. I re-downloaded the app and logged in with my library card number, only to find that it didnt associate the number with any of the music I had been steadily collecting. Very frustrating. That being said, I will continue to use freegal and hope they fix that. Although I cant always find what Im looking for, I always find plenty of good music to download each week and the app always works great on my phone, an iPhone 6

Needs to be more user friendly

I deleted this app because you have to have a library card! Trash, its rare for people to go to library nowadays. If I could give this app a negative star I would

searching doesnt work? its jumpy - flashes up results and then disappears. try again, numerous times, get the screen to stay put, quickly listen & then download & then crash. take your taxpayer dollars & hire competent app developers. sheer garbage.

This app has some great functionality. You can tell that the UI is second rate because it was most likely an amateur coder who wrote the application. I love having the opportunity to listen to music and stream it to my phone. However, it is annoying and incredibly offensive that they limit your streaming 2 1/2 hours. The limit is fine, but they dont mention it anywhere on the app description or inside the app. Lying by omission is still lying and it is still negligence. I probably wont recommend this app for anyone.

If you can login you are lucky . Most of the time the app freezes up on me. And is completely dead in it tracks forcing me to force a closure of my iPad. Then deleting the app and trying again installing it...

You can download songs, but it doesnt download directly onto your device. It downloads the file into the app. I downloaded the music files from my computer and moved them to my phone. UI is very simple also. Not too easy to look for songs.

No selection, nothing but the new crap thats on the radio today

I actually like this app for the most part. I have had problems with downloads failing and it not letting me re-download the song but thats fairly minor. The reason I only gave it two stars was because recently it isnt letting me move the songs to my computer. I pull up the app in iTunes, click to save the folder to my computer, & it says "file not found." Theres no in-app support to talk to. Theres not much point in downloading songs if I cant move them into the folder with the rest of my music from other sources.

I love the concept; I get most of my music from freegal. However, there are a lot of bugs and the app is extremely limited. Presently I would recommend using the website so you can download the files and play them on iTunes.
