I love the concept of the app, love my library (epl is awesome), love the selection, but this app fails overall. Sends you to FAQ for help, but the FAQ are not easy to find... unicorns are more obvious. Also lacks play/pause buttons and ffw/rwd buttons. Using it leaves me screaming at the developers and wanting to tear out what little hair I have left on my head. 5star app with 2star implementation

Its actually not a bad app itself. Its free if you have a Library card in certain towns/cities. Yes 5 downloads per week, but hey its F R E E!! It has music thats new and many others! Although I wish the interface could be more advanced and maybe optimized for bigger devices? Thank you!:)

It asked me to log out. When I logged back in, my music was gone and it said I was already at my max downloads (I wasnt). Freegal still works through desktop machines, but not this app.

Well, deleted it after about five minutes. Very clumsy and frustrating. When you try to download a song, it tells you youve already downloaded it - when you havent. Also when searching, even when you can see the name youre searching for in the background, it tells you theres no such name in the selections. When an app is so poor, why bother offering it?

Download songs with your library card. Is every song available? Of course not, but many current songs are available on the home page and many older songs available through the search function. Limit of 5 downloads per week, yes, but totally free! Im building a large personal library of music I love 5 songs at a time.

This is a really cool app. I can search for quite a few things and find them to stream on a Bluetooth speaker. I was surprised to find some teaching materials for musicians as well! There is a good variety of music and I am really glad my friend told me about it. I have not had any crashing issues on my device so far. And free downloads. That is really cool.

Worked fine for a bit. Now it locks up with "Freegal Music Please wait . . ." Message after selection. Annoying.

This is an awesome app to get free music through my library and I know its low rates but some people are haters since it doesnt have their song, but it has all the popular ones unlike prime music and it is free through your library. I am never complaining through free music.

Not gonna lie, the app is pretty useful. Who doesnt like free music? Except, out of my 100+ songs that I was planning to download, Freegal offered just 7... SEVEN. The rest were unavailable from this service. Not just lesser-known artists like theatrical music group Two Steps from Hell, either. Notable artists that were missing included Metallica, Bon Jovi, and Foreigner. If you use it for streaming, just use Spotify: Its free unlimited use with ads. Try Freegal, but dont expect to find all of your favorite music there.

I deleted this app after about 2 minutes! First your library has to be signed up for it and if its not well this app has no use to you and thousands others! AND GUESS WHAT MY LIBRARY IS NOT SIGNED UP!

Please add a wish list to the app that way we remember to download songs we want but dont have anymore credits for that week for. Also please make songs continue playing as in a playlist even when ur phone is off plz. And plz make them savage to iphones

Not everyone want to only listen to One Direction and Britney Spears. Not sure why but this app doesnt have a very wide selection. Looking for some nice classical music or the soundtrack to that amazing movie you watched last night? Dont come here, Spotify my not let you download songs for free but it has a much wider selection.

The fact that you get free music is pretty cool. But for my sisters all of their music from Freegal is put in their regular music tab on their tablets, but on my iPhone my Freegal music doesnt go any where.

I dont really trust it and u think it asks for personal things

Needs the ability to export downloaded songs in app, not just iTunes. Also, a built in music player with previous and next track controls for songs on a playlist and streamed albums. Thanks.

Thorns: Buggy as heck. Crashes frequently. No next track/previous track controls. Needs location services enabled for some reason. Roses: Decent selection of "free" (library must be paying something) music. Easy enough to use when it works.

I have (so I thought) successfully updated this app 5 times now but it still keeps asking me to update. I had other apps to update and they loaded just fine. Excited to see iTunes compatibility but so far nothing.

All my playlists are blank after the latest update which I ran last night. I live the service but the app has not been very user friendly.

The new update wiped all my music. Stupid me thought hey just reinstall the app. Now Im sure my music is gone. Oh but somewhere the app remembered I had already downloaded two songs this week. This app is garbage. It is not user friendly and not compatible with the real world. If my phone is hooked up to my car I have no volume controls. Songs dont transfer to ITunes. This app is so poorly put together it makes me angry at my local library and they havent done anything wrong!

Help! I cant access my playlists! Please earn that 5 stars and fix my music ASAP!!!
